1974-03-00-Newsletter

Issue No. 1. March 1974

Dear Mi-Sol-ite,

Here it is, the first of your regular series of free monthly news letters written just for you. On or about the first of every month we will be sending you a News Letter like this with as much information as we can get
in. We hope it will help you to enjoy Spain in general and Mi-Sol Caravan Park in particular.

CLIMATE

During March the average temperature throughout the month is expected to be 65°F with an average of 6.5 hours of sun every day and it will rain on about five days only.  In London over the same period the temperature will be around 51°F with 3-3 hours of sun on average each day.

Ml-SOL DEVELOPMENT
With April the 1st fast approaching Mi-Sol Owners Association will soon be taking over management of Mi-Sol. Although a little work still remains ta put the finishing touches to Phases I and II, it is hoped that these will all be completed by the take-over date. A member of the Mi-Sol Management Committee will be visiting the site within the next ten days to personally check the completion of the work on Phases I and II prior to the Association taking over.  One great improvement to the amenities of the whole Park is the installation of a new sewage purification system which will replace the existing septic tanks. We understand this system will be working as Phase III is completed, which is scheduled for the 1st August this year. Several owners have contracted with a local builder to surface their plots with a concrete and tile finish which looks most attractive.  We understand the charge for this re-surfacing ranges between 5,000 and 7,000 pesetas, depending on the quality of tiles used.

Mi-Sol is now getting an identity all of its own and the layout and amenities are being commented on by visitors and have also been featured in the largest paper in the Province together with a full page of colour photographs.

SAILING AND FISHING
A holiday at Torrevieja would not be complete without sailing in the clear blue Mediterranean. Whether you enjoy fishing or sailing, over half a day, a whole day, or if you are really keen for two full days, come along and have a chat with John Hall, No.91, Mi-Sol Park. He will be only too pleased to take you out (for a small and very reasonable charge) on a 36 foot - 7 berth Swedish Sloop which has full sail and engine of course. You will be able to take the tiller, try your hand at fishing, go swimming off the boat, or just simply lazily sunbathe on the deck and let the rest of the world slip by.

Your place in the sun....
John and Sheelah on the sloop in Torrevieja Harbour.
